A member of our team will clean your teeth with special dental tools to remove plaque and tartar from hard to reach places that regular brushing and flossing cannot reach. This helps keep your smile bright and healthy.
Dr. Messenger will take a thorough look at your smile to catch any potential issues early. If any are found, she will work with you to develop a treatment plan that works within your schedule and budget.
Dr. Messenger may recommend a set of x-rays to better see problems that may not be visible to the naked eye. With early detection, we can address issues before they worsen and require more invasive procedures.
At our office, we want to make sure you are confident and informed at each visit. We will gladly walk you through your treatment plan and answer any questions that may arise. We love hearing from our patients, so don’t hesitate to call!

If you’re using our new patient special, at your first visit you’ll receive a cleaning, exam, and any necessary x-rays. You'll be able to use the new patient special assuming you are free of periodontal disease (gum disease). If Dr. Messenger finds an indication of gum disease, she may recommend a full mouth debridement and scaling and root planing (commonly called a deep cleaning) instead. If no issues are found during your exam, we’ll simply see you in six months for your next cleaning and check-up. However, if our team does find problems that need to be addressed, there may be additional costs as other treatments are not included in the new patient special. Our team is happy to work with you to find a convenient time to come in for any recommended follow-up treatments.
After your new patient special appointment, you’ll come back to see us every 6 months for a cleaning and checkup. This will allow us to track your dental health and ensure your teeth stay healthy and look their best. If any issues are found during your new patient exam or during any future checkups, Dr. Messenger will develop a custom treatment plan to accommodate your dental needs.
Our new patient special is designed for patients who are not using dental insurance for their care. If you have a dental insurance plan that you'd like to use, please let us know before your first visit so we can help you get the most out of your benefits. Frankly, I was apprehensive seeing a new Dentist after Ron Spain retired ( even though Dr Messenger looks a whole better), but I have come to the conclusion that this practice, AND THE STAFF, are perfect for me....a little crazy, but considering my phobia for dentists, they allow me to feel a little more "at ease"...
